They just keep coming!! Released 07/24/2008 at the San Diego Comic Con, the 2 newest figures from Pushead & Secret Base.

1st the Skull Pirate a FHP in purple & reddish tones, came with a purple Skeletal bandanna, pin, & sticker. Just beautiful!

Next the Skull Captain, YARR RED GRROG. The detail (as always) is great, & the factory hand paint is next to perfect. Great colors of red, brown, gold, green, & orange, a color scheme that makes this Captain "POP"

If you haven't picked up these 2 yet, WHAT IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT'S VINYL ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? Seriously these are 2 must haves (along with the rest of course) LOL

Skull Viking X Blobpus

The latest Vinyl Junkies, Skull Viking, #15, is a collaboration with the Blobpus Diablo released 05/26/2008. Champagne gold glitter, with gold jeweled eye, and red jeweled eyes in the skull patch.

The more common version came with a red eye. The gold glitter really sparkles on this one.

These are ALL 5 released to date.

I limit myself on the subject matter I post about, for the simple reason that my collections are focused, & I try to keep them complete & up to date if possible. BUT.......... there comes a vinyl figure every once in awhile that takes your breath away. This is it, The latest released SkullBee from Secret Base, THE GIANT SKULLBEE.

I mean, check it out, this guy ROCKS!!! We're talking 12 inches tall x 9 inches wide of vinyl goodness. The figure is as well made as his smaller counterpart. Head, and arms move. For a size comparison check out the pic below. The giant Bee, the normal size, and the mini.

Now, if we can only get PUS to do a Pirate or Captain in this size!
(a collector can dream, can't he??)

New Zombi, El ZOMBI muchacho malo

The name is El ZOMBI muchacho malo.
It's based on a Japanese wrestler, Kazushige Nosawa who wrestled mostly in Mexico, then went back to Japan.

All he needs is a helmet!

Custom Viking created by me. He started life as a Toy Tokyo exclusive, and changed into this.

I decided to go with pastels, as these figures are usually dark, and foreboding. I went with spring colors, as they are a sign of rebirth and newness.
Canary yellow base, Caribbean blue for the wraps, and Fuchsia for the bones. Sorta gives him a Easter Egg, or Miami Vice look (or Miami Viking if you will).
He was fun to paint, and I have a few more ideas for customs that I will put on here when finished.
